Beautiful live Scottish mussels, cultivated off the west coast of Scotland. Grown on ropes suspended in the tidal currents.

All mussels are packed and shipped alive but please be aware there can be some mortality rate during the shipping process.

Before cooking place the mussels in cold running water, any mussels that have broken shells or do not close after being submerged in water should be discarded and not eaten.
